Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION: AS Degree or Diploma in Nursing
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Related Field
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Three years inpatient, One year Health Care
REQUIRED LICENSURE: Florida RN License, Florida Drivers License
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Knowledge of Baker Act and Marchman Act. Customer services skills, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to delegate, work independently with minimal supervision, teamwork, critical thinking, organizational skills, computer skill appropriate to position, knowledge of regulatory requirements appropriate for position, management skills.
Description:The RN Coordinator I manages the care of patient population and practices critical thinking skills in a designated clinical setting. Assumes 24-hour responsibility for the assigned inpatient areas and acts as a liaison between patients, team members, physicians, ARNP?s, other customers and administration. The RN Coordinator will possess a clear, understanding of the service delivery system and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, statutory requirements and regional policies. Performs on-call duties as assigned. Travel is required. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
