Physician's Assistant
The Minneapolis VAMC has a unique opportunity for a PA to develop special expertise in Neurosurgery. This PA will be part of a team consisting of 2 neurosurgeons, a PA, a resident and a nurse coordinator that provides neurosurgical care to VA patients from upper Midwest area. The Mpls VAMC is a referral site that has one of the VA's 4 Polytrauma/TBI units for veterans recovering form serious injuries incurred in the current conflicts and has a dedicated spinal cord injury center. Duties include staffing clinic, responding to consults and participating in the care of inpatients.
