MRI Technologist

Position Description
Perform and/or assist with various types of magnetic resonance procedures, following protocols established by the Radiologists.  Prepare and maintain MRI equipment and produce detailed anatomic images.  Operate MRI equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following appropriate safety guidelines.

Experience/Requirements
Minimum six month¿s experience as a registered radiologic technologist with previous experience in MRI or CT preferred.  Graduate of formal radiologic technology training program in an AMA approved school.  Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with active and good standing status.  CPR certification is required.  venipuncture certification.  ARRT, advance registry in CT or MRI preferred.  Ability to perform quality MRI exams according to department protocol on all age of patients.  Must be able to communicate effectively utilizing oral and written instructions.
