Inpatient and Outpatient Coders .
Responsibilities:
- Using established ICD-9-CM and UHDDS guidelines to accurately code and maintain inpatient medical records
- Ensuring optimal DRG assignments and tissue review statistics
Requirements:
- High school level of educational development
- Minimum of two years inpatient medical record coding experience
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred
