Point-Of-Care Testing Manager to answer the call.

As the The Point-Of-Care Testing Manager, you will directly manage and provide strategic goal setting for the Point-Of-Care Testing program in the Portland service Area (PSA) hospitals, and clinics, including Providence Seaside Hospital. This service is a cooperative, interdepartmental and interdisciplinary program that requires frequent consultation with administrators, directors, managers, and other key leaders in Oregon. This position receives, evaluates and leads the discussion for all requests for POCT. This position assures that the requirements of all accrediting agencies (such as JCAHO, CLIA, CMS, Oregon State, etc.) are met by the POCT program.
In addition, the Regional POCT Manager is actively involved with Providence Health & Services & initiatives through the Laboratory Resource Council. The Laboratory Resource council attempts to optimize outcomes by standardizing practices and taking full advantage of the buying power of our System which covers programs in five western states.
Required: Bachelor´s degree and current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CSL), or Medical Technologist (MT) certificate. Comprehensive, broad knowledge of POCT.
