Lead Supervisor - Hematology / Chemistry In his role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Hematology and Chemistry, ensuring that all sections of the laboratory are adequately staffed for the specimen volume. You will participate in the technical operations including QA/QC checks, system maintenance issues, accuracy of test results, and general sample troubleshooting. Act as reference source for technologists in the correlation of test data. Implement solutions to problems in processing and delivering highly accurate patient data. Participate in QA/QC concerns, which relate to result data delivery and patient care and in the orientation and training of staff.
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License and a minimum of three years supervisory experience in Hematology and Chemistry; ASCP certification preferred
Lead Technologist and Section Supervisor Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License and a minimum of six years experience as a Technologist in Hematology/Chemistry required; supervisory experience and ASCP certification preferred.
