In this role you will oversee the daily operations of outpatient and outreach specimen accessioning at the Weill Cornell Clinical Laboratories. Responsibilities will include developing departmental policies and procedures, and assuring an accurate, safe and efficient flow of specimens and data into and out of the L8 accessioning area.
Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical laboratory. A master's degree and previous hospital laboratory experience are highly preferred. Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software is a must, as are exceptional communication, project management and analytical skills.
