Technical Lab Support Service Lead to answer the call.
The primary goal of the Support Services Lead in the Technical Lab are to ensure that phlebotomy and specimens are collected and processed accurately and in a timely manner in order to meet established turnaround time goals. The Lead will supervise Lab Assistants of varying skill levels as well as data entry personnel. This position must also perform clinical laboratory analysis as assigned. The Lead is also responsible for coordinating the management of laboratory testing at the patient bedside (POCT). This position must also perform clinical laboratory analysis as assigned.
Required: Licensed Medical Technologist, or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP or equivalent). Must have minimum 5 years progressive laboratory experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.
Preferred: one year of Supervisory experience in a Clinical Lab.
