Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Registered Occupational Therapist assists in delivery of Occupational Therapy Modalities designed to restore the patient to his maximum level of functioning.

Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an approved two year curriculum in a school for Occupational Therapy.
  • Must have current Florida Occupational Therapist Assistant license.
  • Must have a vehicle with current insurance coverage.
  • Must have strong Interpersonal skills and excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Must have a sincere desire to work with the aged and infirm.
  • Must understand Psychosocial needs of patients in this age group.
  • Must be able to supervise and instruct non-professional personnel and family members.
  • Must possess sound judgment and be levelheaded in emergency situations.
  • Must have an acute sense of responsibility.
  • Must be well-groomed, courteous, tactful, patient and kind. Must have a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm.
