Complete Description
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Planning, directing, implementing, evaluating, and reevaluating the perioperative care given to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in the Orthopedics Department. Assisting surgeon in performing orthopedic surgery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from an accredited Physician's Assistant Program. Current BCLS and ACLS required. Three years experience needed in perioperative orthopedic patient care. Effective written and oral communication skills. Willingness to participate in a call rotation and work irregular hours as necessary.
Must be certified as a Physician Assistant by an accredited certifying body and maintain certification. Current licensure as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Georgia also required.
