Complete Description
Coordinating the delivery of quality clinical nursing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as well as operational issues during his/her shift. Providing clinical care, as needed. Serving as a liaison for patients, visitors, families, physicians, other Piedmont Hospital departments and external ancillary services. Communicating patient care, departmental and staff issues to the appropriate authority.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure in the state of Georgia. Two years nursing experience in clinical practice with demonstrated clinical competency, leadership qualities, effective communication skills and ability to use initiative and exercise independent judgement. Skilled in triage processes. Able to perform under changing and stressful circumstances. Current BCLS certification. (ACLS certification if required by department.)
