BA/BS degree in accounting (CPA or MBA strongly desired); 7-10 years experience; plant accounting/controller experience required; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, SAP and Business Objects strongly desired.

Plant Controller is responsible for all accounting/financial activities occurring at the manufacturing facility and to provide finance support to the manufacturing facility operations group. Specific duties include inventory and Cost of Goods Sold recognition and reporting, manufacturing facility-related balance sheet accounts, capital expenditure analysis, manufacturing facility-related P&L and Cost of Goods Sold recognition and reporting, creation and maintenance of policies and procedures (manufacturing facility-related), financial analysis, business support to the manufacturing facility operations group and special projects.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold Recognition and Reporting: Responsible for all inventory and Cost of Goods Sold recognition journal entries as well as the preparation of management reports on inventory for the manufacturing facility (including reviewing materials transactions and closing process orders/jobs in the ERP system).
- Manufacturing Facility-Related Balance Sheet Accounts: Responsible for all reconciliations of manufacturing facility-related balance sheet accounts (including fixed assets accounted for by the Americas accounting team).
- Capital Expenditure Analysis: Responsible for performing the required analyses to support capital expenditure requests as well all reporting on manufacturing facility capital spend.
- Manufacturing Facility-Related P&L and Cost of Goods Sold Recognition and Reporting: Responsible for all department and Cost of Goods Sold recognition and reporting for the manufacturing facility (including the billing and collection of manufacturing facility generated receivables).
- Creation and Maintenance of Policies and Procedures (manufacturing facility-related): Facilitate the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures for all manufacturing facility-related items with a goal of ensuring that the manufacturing facility adheres to corporate inventory and Cost of Goods Sold policies and procedures. In addition, ensure effective financial internal controls in compliance with Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Financial Analysis: Responsible for providing support at the manufacturing facility level for the rolling forecast process (including analysis and validation of the manufacturing facility's headcount). Prepare and distribute recurring reports to the management team at the manufacturing facility as well as any ad-hoc manufacturing facility-related reporting and analysis. Play an integral role in the development of budgets and financial forecasting for inventory and Cost of Goods Sold items, including the development of financial models and forecasting tools. Present and interact with senior management with regard to inventory and Cost of Goods Sold forecasts.
- Business Support to the Manufacturing Facility Operations Group: Strong integration with operations in the role as business partner. Provide overall financial support to keep the business and finance functions mutually informed as to current and future financial and business developments (including reviewing inventory reserves, purchase price variances and manufacturing variances with the manufacturing facility operations group).
- Special Projects: Work with multi-discipline teams on various special projects.


Skills/Knowledge Required:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA or MBA strongly desired).
- 7-10 years experience. Big-4 public accounting and pharmaceutical experience a plus.
- Plant accounting/controller experience required.
- Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, SAP and Business Objects strongly desired.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop solutions to complex and diverse business problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
