Facility Information: Come join our very fast paced 51-bed Trauma Med/Surg Unit! As a Level II Trauma Center this unit receives Trauma patients directly admitted from the ED or transferred from TICU. Additionally, the Surgical side of the unit is part of a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence and provides care to a variety of patients including traumatic brain injury, total hip, total knee, GI/GU/GYN, Colectomy, Urology and overflow Medical patients. This dynamic unit also has Telemetry capability and utilizes the best evidence-based practices of bedside shift report and hourly rounding, which involves patients in their plan of care and ensures that their needs are met, enabling staff to deliver the best and most efficient care! You will be exposed to PCA/Epidurals for pain control and TNCC is an expected goal for all RNs in the unit.

Position Requirements: CA RN licensure, current CPR certification. Recent and minimum of 1 year acute Med/Surg experience required; Telemetry certification preferred but not required.
